DELHI Election: The Verbal war is going on in view of the voting on 8 February for the Delhi Assembly elections (Delhi Election 2020). On one hand, while the BJP is trying to surround the Aam Aadmi Party on the issue of Shaheen Bagh, the Aam Aadmi Party is seeking votes on the strength of its work. On Wednesday, Rajdeep Sardesai, Consulting Editor of India Today Group had a special conversation with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
CM Kejriwal said that Delhi is mini India and Hindu-Muslim politics will not work here. BJP has not done any work in 5 years. That is why Hindu-Muslim is making a narrative. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party is seeking votes for its work and the people of Delhi also know that it is getting better basic facilities now.
Kejriwal said that the people of Delhi will vote after seeing the work of the AAP government. He said that I challenge Home Minister Amit Shah to open debate on the issue of electricity, water, and health. He said that the people of Delhi have rejected what the BJP wants to make it productive. I want to make Delhi better, not BJP or Amit Shah.
We want to work for the people of Delhi
Are you sure you want to win? On this, Kejriwal said that people have faith and they know what they want. This is the power of democracy. BJP says that we are bringing 200 MPs, 70 ministers. Can they not find BJP leaders in Delhi for campaigning? He said that no party is our enemy. We want to work for the people of Delhi.
